• UB Athletics Hitting The Road With 2017 Coaches Caravan

    The UB Athletics Coaches Caravan will be hitting the road again this spring, making two stops in New York and one in Washington D.C. Fans will have an opportunity to meet and interact with athletic director Allen Greene, football head coach Lance Leipold, men's basketball head coach Nate Oats, women's basketball head coach Felisha Legette-Jack as well as other members of the UB coaching staff.

    CLEVELAND, NY – The Mid-American Conference announced today the Distinguished Scholar Athletes from the eight winter sports during the 2016-2017 academic season. Among that list were 15 University at Buffalo student-athletes. This list was voted on by the faculty athletic representatives, and represents the “best of the best” from each sports’ Academic All-MAC teams.

    BUFFALO, NY – Third-year women’s soccer head coach Shawn Burke announced the signing of 9-year old Sarah Reid to a National Letter of Intent on Thursday afternoon. Reid was paired up with the UB women’s soccer program through a program called Team IMPACT, a non-profit organization that helps children forget about their illness and become part of something bigger, a team of friends.

The Chancellor’s Scholar-Athlete Award was created in 2003-04 to recognize students who have combined academic excellence and outstanding athletic achievement at the Division I, Division III and NJCAA levels at SUNY schools.
