    Sophomore Ethan Nittolo outlasted Jannik Opitz in a third-set tiebreaker at sixth singles on Saturday, capping off a comeback for the ages that saw the Bulls win the final three singles matches and claim the 2017 Mid-American Conference Tournament Championship against #2 Western Michigan. With the victory, the Bulls will now represent the MAC in the upcoming NCAA Tournament.

    BUFFALO, NY – Junior pitcher Shawn Dubin went 7.0 innings of four-hit and no earned run ball as the University at Buffalo baseball team (14-25, 6-8 MAC) collected their second win over the Eastern Michigan Eagles on Saturday afternoon at Audobon Field, 5-2. Dubin allowed just one unearned run while striking out a career-best nine batters in his team-leading fourth win of the season.

    BUFFALO, NY – Powered by a five-run eighth inning, the University at Buffalo baseball team (13-25, 5-8 MAC) collected a come-from-behind victory over the Eastern Michigan Eagles on Friday afternoon at Amherst Audobon Field, 6-3. Senior designated hitter Vinny Mallaro finished the game with two RBI as he became the programs all-time leader in RBI with 139 career runs batted in for the blue and white.
