• Bulls Return To UB Stadium For Final Regular Season Home Matches This Weekend

    BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo women’s soccer team (6-7-2, 4-3-1 MAC) will return home for their final two regular season home matches this weekend as they welcome a pair of MAC foes. On Thursday night, the Bulls will welcome Ball State to UB Stadium at 7:00 pm before closing out their home slate on Sunday at 12:00 pm as Miami (OH) comes to town on Senior Day for three UB student-athletes.

    TOLEDO, OH – After a disappointing loss on Friday night, the University at Buffalo women’s soccer team (5-7-2, 3-3-1 MAC) earned a gritty road victory on Sunday afternoon at Scott Park against the Toledo Rockets, 1-0. Carissima Cutrona netted the game-winner for the Bulls in the 59th minute, her team-leading sixth goal and third game-winner this season.

    The University at Buffalo volleyball team won their second straight match on Saturday night as the Bulls took down the MAC West leading, Western Michigan Broncos, 3-1, at Alumni Arena.  The Bulls improved to 11-8 on the year and 4-4 in the MAC.

    The University at Buffalo volleyball team snapped a four-match losing skid on Friday night as the Bulls swept the defending Mid-American Conference Tournament champions, Northern Illinois, 3-0, at Alumni Arena. The Bulls are now 10-8 on the season and 3-4 in league play.

    BOWLING GREEN, OH – The Bowling Green Falcons erased a two-goal deficit on Friday night to collect the 3-2 victory over the University at Buffalo women’s soccer team (5-7-2, 3-3-1 MAC). Buffalo collected the first two goals of the match before Skylar Fleak took over the match and scored three second half goals to seal the win for the Falcons.

    In one of the wildest football games in NCAA history, the University at Buffalo dropped a 71-68 seven-overtime decision to Western Michigan at UB Stadium on Saturday. The teams combined to score 139 points, the most ever in an NCAA game and the seven overtimes tied the longest game in NCAA history.
