Perry Jenkins to be Inducted into Erie CC Hall of Fame University at Buffalo men's track and field head coach Perry Jenkins will be among those inducted into the Erie Community College Athletics Hall of Fame. The 2012 class was named last month with Jenkins among five individuals and two teams to be recognized.

O’Brien Competes in the Shot Put at NCAA Championships University at Buffalo thrower Becky O’Brien competed in her second event at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships on Saturday. The sophomore finished 17th out of 24 competitors in the shot put with a top throw of 52-7.5 (16.04 m).
Golabek Earns Second-Team All-America Honors at NCAAs University at Buffalo thrower Rob Golabek competed in the shot put on Friday in the opening round of competition at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field hosted by Drake University. After a long weather delay, the junior thrower finished in 11th place - falling just short of advancing in the competition. The top nine finishers advanced to the finals. However, his 11th place finish earned him second-team All-America honors.
